What could he do? At any other time, if Yazoo had been considering trying to escape, the younger remnant would have angrily refused. He needed those shards, after all. But what could he do when he could not even stand without his brother’s help?
Leaning against Yazoo, he watched the strange woman with rage burning in his eyes. So close. He had come so close, and she had to interfere. He made no secret of his anger and desperation to his brother, either, coming as close to ranting as it was near possible without the use of words. But he knew they needed to escape. It was pointless pursuing Cloud’s shards if he risked losing the one he already possessed to Barbariccia…
Yes, he was more concerned about losing the shard than losing his life.
But how to escape?
“Brother left us a gift,” he muttered suddenly to Yazoo, as quietly as possible in the hope that Barbariccia wouldn’t overhear. “The docks.”
Of course, Fenrir still stood waiting in the docks, where he had left it when he had first arrived here. The motorcycle would be the perfect means of escape… if they could get to it. Reaching it meant getting past the woman – who was clearly a threat, after having stood up against the power of the Black Materia.

Though it was not his first encounter with the surge of energy present in the Shadow Flare, this experience was doubtlessly unique. Where Rufus had been a spectator previously, he was now in the path of the disaster area. Powerful gales whipped about the president, flapping the bottommost hem of his jacket. His eyes peered into the headlong gust, scanning from beyond the safety of his raised arm. There, between him and certain death, stood the mysterious figure from before. Though she would certainly be ripped apart by the building behemoth of magic, the creature that parodied a woman only guarded herself as he had.
The spell made contact with her person, at which point said person collided with his. The blond was tossed aside, hitting the hard metal and tumbling a short distance from there. His disorientation was brief, and he was able to look up from his sprawled position soon after. He first saw the yellow woman, staggering to her feet in spite of the hit she had taken. While she looked notably dazed, her ability to stand proved just how inhuman she was. The president’s cerulean eyes shifted across to the other party, and specifically to Kadaj. The young remnant seemed to have been taxed by the attack, as Cloud had been earlier. If anything it seemed the spell had tilted the fight toward the woman.
Disappear from here, before I decide to pursue you instead.
Rufus’s attention snapped back to the woman, who gave him a cold look that was most unlike her prior demeanor. In the end though, it came down to something resembling annoyance; as if she had merely broken a nail. It could be an act to look tough, or it could be that she was truly unphased by the Shadow Flare. Either way, Rufus was not so attached to his recent streak of bad luck to not take her offer. Climbing to his feet and dusting his jacket off, he gave all parties one parting glance before making his way to the helicopter. Only when the door had slid closed did his exterior show any sign of breakdown. His head tilted back, his eyes closed, and his nostrils released a relieved sigh.
“Just take us back....”

Barbariccia took step after step, slowly bringing herself closer to the brothers without pause. She heard the chopper pick up and leave, but spared not a glance to the transport. “Is your friend alright?” Her voice was sweet, with her expression changing to suit. It was a taunt of the most blatant variety. “You probably shouldn’t cling to him like that. I’ll definitely win if you think you can take me and protect him.” It was the truth as she saw it. One of them on their own could probably match her in strength and would prove to be troublesome opponents. However, if that one individual had to protect someone AND fight her, she doubted that he would be as capable of keeping up.
Then, at about halfway, her step faltered. The Fiend’s vision had suddenly plummeted, as he she had plunged into some unseen pitfall. She caught herself despite her sudden loss of balance, but the duo had most likely taken notice. I took more damage from that attack than I thought. Damn him! Barbariccia did her best to recover, flipping several strands of hair back as she regained her posture. Injured or not, she would not allow enemies to catch sight of weakness.
Speaking of which, what exactly were said enemies up to? She thought she had caught sight of the younger one whispering something, and she doubted it was a suggestion to surrender. If anything, communication from his end was to be avoided. He had the shards, and therefore would be the one considering his survival most. All of Jenova’s pawns had dangerous trains of thought simply for being what they were. Barbariccia could hardly imagine what sort of machinations ran through the head of one with a foot in the door to power.
(Suck-tastic! All that waiting for nothing, sucker! –runs-)

What was there to do? Yazoo shifted his grasp on the younger slightly as the woman neared them, his breath escaping him in a low hiss. He heard Kadaj, he heard Barbariccia as well. She was right, even though he would never be the one to admit it out loud. Wile using Velvet Nightmare only took a twitch of his finger, but there was a difference from shooting at someone and then engaging in actual gunplay.
But, he wanted to escape, like Rufus, not continue this fight where the possibility of Kadaj getting injured existed.
The motorcycle provided a way to get out quickly, but it was several stories down. . . How could he get there quickly? Jumping was the obvious answer, and he could of done it by himself; after all, his body was stronger than a normal humans. But could he take Kadaj's weight without killing himself as well?
They would just have to find out.
One step backward, right after the woman stumbled. . . then another. Yazoo's left arm flew up and the loud noise of the bullets leaving the barrel-- three of them, to be exact. They neatly streamed toward their target with precision one would expect of the Sephiroth clone; One aimed right between the eyes of the female, the other two at her chest and abdomen. Aimed to kill, no surprise there, but . . .
Pulling the other almost roughly along with him, Yazoo's knees bent and he jumped backwards, moving away from the Helicopter and the woman-- Right off the building, leaving the two silver-haired men in a free-fall with the ground rushing up at them.

((I am so bored, you have no idea... so double post, since nothings happened in over a month. Hahaha!))
The free-fall he had put himself and his brother into would of certainly been a plunge of death for a human... but as said before, they were not human. The factor now came from the weight of his brother. The younger couldn't support himself enough to stand, so it was assumed that Yazoo would need to break his fall as well. How though... well, he was about to find out.
Wrapping both arms around the younger and then pulling him close, the Ivory Gunslinger took a deep breath, and activated the Materia in his body, forcing it down into his feet. The force of impact almost made him drop the younger clone, though thankfully, that did not happen. A lesser man would of dropped his gun as well, but not Yazoo. Velvet Nightmare was something that was a part of him. Instinctual.
The elder Remnant hissed behind clenched teeth, but even then the fractures in his legs were being healed. "Where is it?"
