History/Background:
Lucrecia is a Class A biotechnologist for the Shinra Electric Power Company scientist who worked on the Jenova Project, alongside Professor Hojo and Professor Gast. She was Vincent’s love interest as well as Sephiroth's biological mother.
Her thesis on Omega and Chaos had suffered much criticism and she was anxious to prove her colleagues wrong. During one of her investigations she happened upon the suspected location of the dormant Omega.
During the events before Final Fantasy VII Lucrecia was assigned as an assistant to Professor Faremis Gast alongside Professor Hojo in the town of Nibelheim. They were to investigate the excavated specimen (later known as Jenova) from the Northern Crater which was suspected to be an Ancient (Cetra). Upon analysis they falsely believed it to be a Cetra and attempted to extract its cellular DNA in order to artificially produce soldiers with the Cetra's abilities. She used her unborn child as the subject of the Jenova Project's first in vivo experiment despite objections from Vincent Valentine. During pregnancy, Lucrecia began receiving visions of the horrors her unborn son would commit, and in an untimely encounter, discovered Vincent shot by Hojo. Fearing for his life, Lucrecia exposed him to the stagnated mako, causing the being known as Chaos to be absorbed into his body. Though his life was saved, he was left in a feral madness. Disgusted with all that she had done to those she cared about and the changes Jenova's cells had wrought in her own body, she attempted to kill herself. However, she was unable to easily die because of the presence of Jenova's cells in her body, and, thus, she isolated herself in a cave and trapped herself within mako crystals.
During the events of Final Fantasy VII, she is discovered by Vincent and the others, and she asks if Sephiroth had died yet. Vincent, hoping to help her rest in peace, falsely tells her that he had.

On that fateful night the cries of two children were born, and in that same instance a revolution ended; the moon shone red and man cried to the heavens for a saviour.
What once was now became a myth and what now is; has shaped the destinies of two new born babes, as their mother lay in a pool of blood and their father if left to raise them.
On that fateful night mankind received its last hope,
And on that same fateful night, destiny was re-written in the stars.

“HaHa!”
“Hey you! You little brat!”
A flash of dark red hair and a glimpse of a cheerful grin dashed past the busy streets.
“Hehe your too slow mister.” The five year old girl stopped and pocked her tongue out at the puffing shopkeeper.
*huff, huff* “I’ll get you next time you brat! You hear me!”
The girl smiled at the shopkeeper “Ok mister.” And then ran of with a wave over her head as she dashed out of site.
* * *
Mist covered the night sky and a owl could be heard in the distance, and down bellow a 17 year old girl pleaded with her father.
“Father you can’t-“
“Open Out In There!”
The press of a mans fist hitting the door was piercing, almost to the point where you could her his muscles flex evertime he pounded the door.
“It’s ok my little princess, *cough*”
“Father you can’t, your already to weak form the fight before. Please let’s just run.”
Her father looked to his child “Even if we run, I wont make it and inturn nor will you, Dakota.” Dakota froze her father turned the gun on her, “Run Dakota or I’ll shoot you myself”
In Dakota’s mind there was a deathly silence, then the click of the gun as it loaded ready to fire, the noise thought not loud screamed through her head.
“You Have Till The Count Of Three!”
The men’s voices were no more than a howl in the wind and Dakota had no choice but to run. “I love you papa!” Dakota hugged her father tears streaming down her cheeks and he dropped and hugged her back.
“Now go I’ll hold them off, they don’t know you’re here.”
“TWO!”
Dakota ran out the back door, closing it and sinking to the ground on the wall next to it.
“I love you Dakota.” Were the final words that ran through her ears as gun shots and her father’s final cry for freedom shattered the very recesses of her soul.

Her fathers’ gun strapped to her right thigh a sword at her back; for anyone who would have seen, a woman hung from the roof of the Collins Pertrone Mansion over the largest of the worlds diamonds left. It protected by high security and deadly lasers that, our heroine in this story, was now carefully dodging.
19 years ago when the freedom revolution ended a new era began, one of brutal murder and survival of the fittest, where your best friend is your worst enemy and weapons are freely carried.
Many of the older generation pray that one day their freedom and peaceful rein will return but for the young, hope was lost that day that the missile hit.
Ground Zero
Dakota
Age 19
Enigma,
Notorious thief and gun woman for hire.
Tattoo of a red Phoenix on her neck and a wolf between her shoulder blades
Trade mark, a black calling card with a kiss of red lips planted in the bottom right
The sirens ran and lights flashed, “Get Her! She has the Diamond!”
Blowing a kiss to the camera as she past and dropping her trade mark calling card, she jumped out the window and into the awaiting river.
“Wha!? She’ll never survive that!”
“That- that woman, she’s not human.”
