((Sorry, this might be kinda sucky!))
"The light..." Cloud muttered in response to Aerith "...is faded, brushed out among the darkness." That was when Tifa had stepped a bit too close to him, he arched himself as if to keep whatever he felt at bay, rather than let it loose like before.
"No..." Cloud muttered, before rubbing his forehead tiredly "...no..." he continued to mutter to himself "...that Cloud...is gone now." He covered his eyes again once he felt Tifa growing ever closer to him; his senses perked, his muscle tensed...and the second he felt Tifa touch him he threw himself frowards and away from her, still keeping his head low and reluctantly trying not to look at her.
"I remember...but...they're nothing but shadows of memories..." Cloud sighed, keeping himself tense and alert...unwilling to let his emotions get the better of him. He had to learn to control himself, in order to control his inner demons, before getting close to the ones he cared about. Unfortunatly for him, Sephiroth...or worse...Hojo, where the only ones who could teach Cloud how to control his emotion-based power. So reluctantly, he faced the one-winged angel who had decided to keep quiet through this 'reunion'.
"You know...how to control the darkness in your heart..." Cloud began, placing one of his hands against the area he embedded the Black Materia in "...so..."
"...teach me to do the same."

Aerith shook her head, there was always light in the darkness it could never be rubbed out.He still had his old self inside him,she knew it to be true it was because of the black materia and his own darkness inside his heart that wouldn't allow him to embrace the light and grasp out to friends who we're willing to still stand by him.
"Your wrong Cloud, there's light even where darkness resides rid yourself of that materia and you will find that light again".
But then again there we're his inner demons he needed to control, she couldn't do anymore here so it was time for her to leave.Turning around with her back to the group, the cetra would just be with Zack since that was about all she could do right now and the white materia was hers again to keep close. She then turned her head slightly to look at Sephiroth, she never hated him or despised him in any way.
"Who is the real one suffering Sephiroth,Cloud or you".
Then with those words said she left the lab.
((Aerith is out))

Keeping quiet to make all the masses of information make sense was a good idea, and taking in the others conversation would also be better than interrupting it.
"He doesn't want to be here..." Sephiroth thought as he glanced at the mentally torn Cloud. Sephiroth was a good reader of peoples personalities, well, lightly he was. He could get a rough idea of what someone was feeling or thinking by just observing their body language, no need to listen to them or even ask them anything. The problems they had would be of no concern to him, but he took amusement in watching them squirm or annoying them by mocking their said problems. He was about to mock Cloud, before shifting his gaze to Tifa "She wants to make him feel secure...?" he thought, slightly unsure of what he was seeing...Tifa's body language was never easy to read, the woman was good at keeping herself calm and in control. And that made body-language-reading difficult, if not impossible.
"Who is the real one suffering Sephiroth, Cloud or you?"
Aerith had disturbed his thought track with that one. Had she taken tips from Zack or something? Recently he was unsure of himself and what was going on between Mother and his remnants, had he really been neglected? Discarded? If he was no use to Mother, what was his purpose? To die. That's what.
"...you don't know the meaning of suffering." Sephiroth answered Aerith with neer a shred of emotion in his voice, but his face clearly displayed the irritation and slight digust he felt. Cloud WAS suffering, he had his own problems to deal with and they where hurting him...breaking apart of what was left of the blonde...but the Black Materia was making him suffer physically as well. Him and Strife where not that different on that subject...both of them where going through some mental instability (although Sephiroth had the advantage of his 'emotional training' to cause a slight stability perk) and insecurity...but they both also where suffering the pain caused by the Black Materia. It was poisoning them, robbing them of their minds.
"Strife..." Sephiroth began, placing his hands on the desk he was leaning against, looking down at his feet "...I have no control over the darkness in my heart." Sephiroth raised his cold gaze towards the direction of Aerith as she left the room.
"...the darkness controls me. So it will do the same to you as well." Sephiroth announced, turning his point of attention back to Cloud and Tifa, still leaning against the desk casually.
"And a strange monster I met in Nibelheim a few days ago told me something that may intrest you all, apparently the Black Materia reacts to emotions it sees as a threat to its power in a negative way. Such as robbing you of your mind." Sephiroth began, gesturing to his torso where his part of the materia lay.
"Those with no 'conflicting emotions' can utilise its power with no negative side-effects, like how I use to use it. So the likes of Kadaj won't have any problem using it once he gets all the peices." Sephiroth added "...but I won't let him get all those shards. They're mine, and he knows it".
"But I won't be harbouring these shards anymore...you see, I also learnt that if I keep them on my person, within me..." Sephiroth began, pushing himself off the desk gently and approaching Cloud and Tifa.
"...I'll die."

Tifa could feel his tenseness and she had to admit that what happened next shocked her. Cloud had pushed her away and passed her, she did not turn around to protest it as he spoke, she was just so hurt.
Tifa remained silent as Cloud asked for Sephiroth's help, she had too many emotions building up within inside her that it paralized her. What Sephitroth answered Cloud with was just stiring up more within her that she felt she was going to burst.
Tifa's head gerked up, her eyes wide Cloud will die?... All other thoughts in her head subsided and only that single thought remained. What would she do without him? How did it even come to this in the first place? Could she help at all, would he want her too? No she had to help, she did it once before and she would do it now. She always was here for Cloud whether he knew it or not.
Tifa's was calm but firm, she did not turn to face both of them as she spoke, but she didn't need to for she knew it would have the same effect.
"Cloud, take out that black materia, get rid of it...I wont watch you die..."
The last bit Tifa said to herself, she would not let it happen, even if he didn't remove it she would force he to at least share the burden with her. She would help him one way or another.

Cloud's eyes widened in shock...the one person he thought who could teach him to become tame and less of a threat to his loved ones...wasn't able to tame himself? That made no sense at all...if what Sephiroth said was true, wouldn't he want to kill both Cloud and Tifa right now?
"...I find that hard to beleive, Sephiroth." Cloud growled, until the one-winged-angel brought up the subject of the Black Materia being lethal to those who owned it...and didn't have the mind or spirit to use it. That alone was terrifying, since Cloud knew perfectly well that the two shards within him where stuck...and if he didn't get that operation to remove them, he'd be stuck with them for life.
"If Kadaj has no trouble harbouring the materia or using it, surely you shouldn't have any problem." Cloud suggested, bitterly of course, since he didn't want Sephiroth to get all the shards and use them himself. But still, keeping Sephiroth calm like this might make him more of a use than a pest. Sephiroth could easily dispose of Kadaj and he remnants...plus these 'acclaimed monsters' he was talking about. Then, Cloud would get rid of him. But in order to defeat Sephiroth quick enough to overpower any influence, he'd need a lot of power. And the shards provived that power. Or at least, promised him it.
"If the shards are going to kill you, then give them...to me." Cloud began, before being intrrupted by Tifa to 'remove them' instead. But that was out of the question right now.
"Tifa..." Cloud began, keeping his back turned on her "...you may well have to. I can't let Kadaj get hold of the materia...once I have all the peices and defeat him, I'm going to need to destroy the materia. But I can't." Cloud sighed, before turning towards Tifa.
"They're embedded in a spot that would kill me, even if you tried to remove them." Cloud informed. Okay, that was a slight lie...CLoud would only die if the materia was forced out, if it was removed under a calm and controlled environment then he stood a higher chance of surviving...but he had to make sure nobody figured that out.
"Besides...there's not much worth living for...if you're a monster..."
(Mine sucks! and I won't reply as Sephiroth until you do Tifa. I just want to break-up my RP posts a bit.)

Tifa felt his eyes fall on her back, she didn't care for what he thought about all this for she knew that some of it wasn't true. When she was gathering information about where he was she also had found out what why he was here and what they were trying to do. Tifa however sighed and decided to let him have his way of thinking she didn't know.
"Cloud....are you just going to let yourself become a memory? Become a slave to that materia inside you?"
Tifa turned to face him, her eyes piercing into his and for the first time he scared her. He scared her because she knew that he was going to do it, and that the black materia he wedged inside him was consuming him.
"You want to go off and fight, you don't want to get the rest of us involved do you? Cloud you heard Sepheroth, you'll did before you can even fight anyone...."
Tifa fell silent, letting her words skin not only into his head but hers too.
"Dilly dally, shilly shally. Stop thinking your a monster Cloud, you are not. We all have problems but as long as we have friends to help us through them we will be fine. Haven't you learnt that yet?...."
Tifa thought back to the time that she went into the liftstream to get Cloud back, to help him find himself again. She thought of how after all the death in Midgar he made her feel better and she thought about Denzel and Marlene and how they all lived together.
"Cloud....don't tell me we have lost you...."
Tifa's voice was quite and her head bowed, she could no longer look at him for she knew that it would just hurt too much.

"Kadaj has no problem using the materia, but that's because he's still in contact with Mother." Sephiroth began "...call it fortunate if you want, but I don't have that bond with her anymore for some reason. So the materia is nothing but poison to me now."
"And give the shards to YOU? In your condition? I may have 'issues' Cloud, but I'm not stupid." Sephiroth laughed, before taking a seat on a nearby empty chair. Still chuckling lightly to himself.
"You're unstable; you look like a nervous wreck, you sound like you're about to die and the amount of denial you're expressing is almost unheard of. Listen to Tifa and stop thinking about just yourself for once." Sephiroth sighed, getting up from his seat and approaching the nearby computer. He stayed silent for awhile, gazing at his own gloved hand that was lightly brushing down the side of the nearby computer. He knew that deep down inside, this was the Sephiroth Zack was talking about...the one that was lost amidst the darkness of Mother. But with the loss of that 'control' from Jenova over his darkness, he was just as dangerous as he was before...only now, he was capable of feeling regret and pain mentally. Ever since he was reawakened from the Lifestream he felt the darkness burning within him...but mental barriers blocked the corruption, the false promises the Black Materia made to him that drove him to madness. But those mental barriers where cracking, if the shards where not removed soon, he would become the puppet of jenova again...but Jenova had outcasted him, making him nothing more than a doll with an instinct to kill. A little bit like how he saw Kadaj at this moment...which reminded him...
"...you intend on fighting Kadaj by yourself...to prove yourself...but at this rate you won't get the chance. Let them take the materia out and hide it somewhere." Sephiroth began, keeping his back turned on Cloud and Tifa.
"...I don't intend on letting ShinRa take my shards from me and hiding them somewhere Kadaj could easily obtain them. But I still need to have them taken out, unforunatly...that's why i'm here."

Cloud grunted in irritation, half of him wanted to keep that materia to fight Kadaj with...but another half of him was saying to trust Tifa and get rid of it. But it was a loosing battle...one half versus several. Cloud's side was loosing against Jenova, The Black Materia and what remained of the 'evil' Sephiroth. He took in all the information from both Tifa and Sephiroth, the only two who ever felt like real friends besides Zack and Aerith, but he didn't say a word nor show any sign of registering the information. He just snarled at Sephiroth and glared at Tifa, angrily shifting his gaze from one to the other as if behaving like an angry animal who was backed into a corner. And technically, he was.
"You don't get it, Tifa..." Cloud growled, clasping the handle of Second Tsurugi tightly as he lowered his head to glare at the floor.
"...The old Cloud..." he rasped, as if sucking in a heave of air as he spoke.
"...is DEAD!!" he rasped, swinging the heavy sword in Sephiroth's direction, knowing the one-winged-angel would dodge Cloud chose to shift his posture the instant he finished the first attack and began another...his lock-on was dramaticly increased thanks to the materia, but of course Sephiroth was right, he was unstable...this spring of anger was a result of the negative side-effects of the materia on his mind.
"You don't want the materia, Sephiroth!? Then it's MINE!!!"
(really bad! Sorry! D= )

Tifa had heard just about enough from Cloud and although she didn't want to admit it she was putting some trust into Sephiroth. She glared at Cloud as he looked form her to Sephiroth, she knew that it was the materia that made him do this but still she was getting angry now, there is only so much patience a girl can have.
Tifa took in a deep breath to calm herself but he was going too far and he was being immature. She knew him better than this and she knew that no amount of talking would make him see.
"...is DEAD!!"
Tifa's eye widened as Cloud, her childhood friend was loosing it and drew his sword. Although what she was going to do next would not only surprise her but all in the room she knew it had to be done. Within the blink of and eye Tifa had started to run, she jumped up so that she used the wall to get her over some rubble then quickly and as Cloud called out that the materia was his, she clenched her fist and slammed it into his jaw. Dropping down in front of Sephiroth she was now the only thing between Cloud and him.
It was strange being in this position, who would have thought she would be right here between Sephiroth and Cloud? However right now what choice did she have? This looked to be the only way to say her friend.
"I can't let you do that Cloud..."
Reluctantly she took up her fighting stance, her eyes burnning into Clouds animal like ones

(Sephy post)
With a single sweep out of harms way, Sephiroth knew that jenova had found her use for Cloud...and that possibly using the blonde to find Hojo and help get rid of Kadaj was beyond him now. This display confirmed Sephiroth's suspicions...with Cloud being so easily manipulated by him in the past, as a puppeteer of Jenova, Cloud was no match for overpowering Jenova's influence directly. And with the Black Materia also corroding the blondes mind, his stability was plummeting at a dramtic rate. If Cloud didn't die due to the black materia or at Kadaj's hands...one of his old friends might have to kill him themselves. Someone with such vast amounts of potential power, in such a distorted mental reality and weakened state, was dangerous. If the time came for Sephiroth to step in to deal with Cloud himself, which his past self would have done anyway, then he would take matters into his own hands. But Cloud wasn't his problem, Kadaj and Jenova where. As was Hojo and these recent monster that started appearing and seeking the Black Materia. Dodging the blondes attacks was simple, even if he tried to counter the dodged with further attacks, it would all ended in failure to the blonde.
"Just stop listening to your ego and Id and start paying attention to what you are DOING!" Sephiroth snapped at Cloud, prepairing to attack in defence...but Tifa got there before him. A nice hit to the blondes jaw, he would never admit it...but Sephiroth thought Tifa was an incredibly good hand-to-hand fighter, it's just a shame she got in his way in past... The past.
"...why does all this feel so familiar?" Sephiroth thought as Tifa stood her ground infront of him, putting up her offense against Cloud. Suddenly, the recalling of where he'd witnessed behavior like this before occured, and in immidiate response, Sephiroth drew Masamune and walked around Tifa and in front of her...aiming the blade directly at Cloud.
"You can HEAR her...can't you!?" Sephiroth growled, keeping his gaze fixed on the blonde. ------
(Cloud post)
Cloud growled in irritation as his swings missed their target, and that the silver-haired monster was still determined to persuade him to get rid of his shards. But if Sephiroth didn't want his, then he wouldn't mind having them taken from him. Even if he had to force them out! Just like he did before!
"I know what I'm doing, now hand over your shards---!!" BAM! Cloud felt the impact of Tifa's fist hit his jaw...and as a result stumbled backwards and out of her reach to avoid any further damage. Second Tsurugi cluttered to the ground as Strife placed his left hand on his jaw and soothed the sting...but he didn't yelp or even show any signs of discomfort. The pain in his torso was enough to eliminate all other pains.
"You think you can stop me, taking what is mine!?" Cloud growled, reaching down and grasping his sword again with his right hand as he continued to 'adjust' his jaw as if expecting it to be dislodged...but it was unphased...so the gesture was unessacary. That was when Sephiroth made his move on offensive stances...he was ready for a fight too? Well...Cloud was going to show the one-winged-angel the error of showing him such a confidential file. One that showed him his weakspots.
"I hear more than just her voice, Sephiroth...I feel her." Cloud hissed mockingly, before rushing towards the silver-haired monster. ------
(fight post)
Cloud and Sephiroth's swords clanged together in the blink of an eye...and where followed by further sights of the two giant weapons further colliding against one another, one minute Sephiroth looked lie he had the upper-hand as he pushed Cloud away from him thanks to his height...but Cloud's small frame meant Sephiroth's hits where useless or inaffective. Another major downside as Cloud dodged under one of Sephiroths swings, was the black Materia in his chest. It immidiatly reacted once it felt the presence of the other fragments within Cloud...and as a rsult Sephiroth dropped his weapon...and was almost impaled by Clouds. That was when Cloud took advantage of what he learnt from the file he found on Hojo's computer about Sephiroth's weak points...the patch on his back where his wing sprouted from was sensative, even a slight cut or knock and he'd become numb enough to be disarmed. And the blonde didn't hesitate to do just that...once he dodged an oncomming kick from Sephiroth to bide time to recover Masamune, Cloud had leapt overhead and kicked the silver-haired creature in the back...sending him crashing into a nearby mound of old machinery. Once the dust had settled, Cloud saw Sephiroth lying face first in the heaves of debris exhausted...and dropped econd Tsurugi in place of taking Masamune and approaching the silver-haired "angel of death".
"You're getting old, Sephiroth!" Cloud mocked as he grasped the back of Sephiroth's head by his hair and hauled him up single-handedly. Another weak point was yanking Sephiroths hair, it wasn't a real weakness...he just didn't like it and usually would be disarmed by accident or by chance as he flailed about. But the one-winged angel was nearly motionless as Cloud whacked him in the back again, sending him crashing into a wall.
"...either that, or you've gotten SOFT." Cloud mocked some more.

(((sigh of relief, I thought Cloud was gonna kill me lol. Nice post btw))
Tifa relaxed her stance in surprise as Sephiroth drew his weapon and stood in front of her. She couldn't quite tell if he did it to protect her or if it were just him saying that this was his fight. She looked from Sephiroth over to Cloud and what she saw was sickening, how could Cloud do this? She kept thinking of the Cloud she knew, of the man she very much loved but she sighed in relisation that he was gone.
Tifa was snapped out of her thoughts by the sudden clang of steel meeting steel, the effect of it sending bursts of sparks about their weapons. She watched on with frighten eyes as the two great fighters fought to the death, the outcome of this fight was going to even confuse her more. On one hand she didn't want Sephiroth to win but on the other, he was helping her in his own way and she didn't want him to die.
The more she watched, the more she couldn't move nor decide who to help. Cloud was her friend and Sephiroth her enemy but look at them now, they were not the people she remembered. Tifa clutched her head with her hands trying to make the confusing thoughts go away, what the heck was she to do?
"You're getting old, Sephiroth!"
Tifa's gut wretched as she heard the constant crushing of Sephiroth's body. She could only watch on in horror as Cloud kept slamming him back into the wall.
"...either that, or you've gotten SOFT."
"Cloud Stop It!!"
Tifa screamed at Cloud and began to run at him, she had made up her mind and she would just have to face the consequences later. Tifa propelled herself off the ground and she aimed a mighty round house kick to Cloud's side and successfully knocking him back enough to see if Sephiroth was ok.
"Sephiroth"
Her voice was filled with worry for him and hurt for Cloud, she didn't want to fight him but he was giving her no choice. She knelt down next to Sephiroth and moved her hands to his shoulders, pulling him out of the debris.
"Sephiroth....are you ok?"
Tifa even surprised herself, her voice was genuinely full of concern, not for Cloud but for a man who had been her enemy for so long. Tifa slowly turned Sephiroth around so that he now lay on his back, then she stood, a rage now building inside her as she faced Cloud ready to fight....

(Cloud post)
Unable to hear Tifa screaming at him to stop due to jenova's heavy influence, Cloud raised Masamune to strike Sephiroth...but just before he could, Tifa had kicked him hard enough to send him crashing several feet away.
"Ghg...I won't let you...get in my way!" Cloud growled as he began to regain his balance to begin another attack. ----
(Sephy post)
Sephiroth was mentally damaged...his pride was shattered by how pathetic at fighting he had gotten. But then again, wasn't it the Black Materia's fault he was being let down? Cloud had allowed himself to be taken by the darkness and the Black materia may have finally accepted him, but Sephiroth wouldn't allow a repeat of past inccidents to himself. He would fight the Black Materia! It's magic YOU control! Not magic that controls YOU! Just as Cloud was about to deliver a strike that would have given him the chance to kill him, Tifa had knocked him aside and tried to...aid him in recovering?
"But...I'm a monster? NO! Snap out of it! Don't end up like Strife!" Sephiroth thought as he shook his head, allowing himself to sit upright and smirk at Tifa.
"I've felt better, but thanks for asking." Sephiroth chuckled, the sounds of his very frame began to clatter as he moved...as if he'd broken a rib or several. He chose to get up anyway and stood in front of Tifa.
"He's unstable. You need to hide or find help." Sephiroth informed, holding his side as the Black Materia increased the pain from the smashed ribs "...its...ghg...the Black materia he wants..." ----
(Cloud post again)
"You don't know when to quit, do you Sephiroth!?" Cloud mocked as he grasped Masamune once again, getting into an offensive stance as the battered and bruised one-winged angel stepped forwards...sheilding Tifa.
"Tifa'll only get hurt if she tries to stop me taking that materia again, and NOTHING is going to stop me taking it!" Cloud growled as he fixed his gaze on the injury Sephiroth had sustained. That document on his weaknesses was fantastic, that and the Black materia reacting negatively within the one-winged angel helped Cloud a great deal in delivering such heafty amounts of damage. And in almost the blink of an eye, Cloud had advanced in attack-mode again...this time, he made sure Sephiroth felt the cold-steel of his own blade jam right through the silver-haired monsters torso, narrowly avoiding his vital organs. The momentum of Clouds attack sent them both crashing over a desk and onto the floor, with Masamune still impaled into Sephiroth's torso as the duo collided with the ground. All Sephiroth could do as an act of defense was kick Cloud's stomach and force him to pull the sword out of his torso as he kicked him off of him. Luckily it worked, but the pain was so intense that Sephiroth could hardly move. He was a sitting duck.
"4 shards...against one...Kadaj will regret messing with me..." Cloud chuckled menacingly as he approached the fallen one-winged angel, Masamune trailing its owners own blood as it lightly scratched along the floor towards its target once again.
"...I just want the shards...I'll kill you after I kill Kadaj..." Cloud chuckled again, pressing his right foot onto Sephiroth's stomach and lowering Masamune's tip at the already open wound on the silver creatures torso. The duo delivered painful death glares into eachothers eyes, the first one to shift their gaze would be in big trouble...as the feral-nature of the pair began to mount on what laid in their torsos, the tension in the air also did. But the pain in Sephiroth ws too much, he blinked tiredly and lost focus, that was when Cloud's eyes gleamed and Masamune ripped into Sephiroths chest...Cloud using his left hand in lightning-quick reactions to yank out the remaining materia shards. At that instant, Sephiroth felt the dark power within him leave through his wound, and lost conciousness. And...as Cloud jammed the two new shards into his own torso, he felt that power become his.
"Yes...at last..." Cloud laughed under his breath.
"I have...the ultimate power..."
((OPEN AGAIN for you Tifa! ^_^ ))

Again he stood in front of her and again it puzzled her yet it also comforted her.
"He's unstable. You need to hide or find help." Sephiroth informed, holding his side as the Black Materia increased the pain from the smashed ribs "...its...ghg...the Black materia he wants..."
"I can't just-"
Tifa's eyes widened in horror, Cloud had moved so quick she had no time to move. Horror and fear took over her as she felt the cold steel of Masamune enter her being. It ricocheted throughout her body and soon the pain was followed by a heavy thud and then a crashing to the ground as she realised that herself and Sephiroth were both impaled on the one weapon.
Tifa tired to move but Cloud, unknowing she was even stuck under Sephiroth was unrelenting. She screamed out in agony as the sword was push out of their bodies and let out a gasp of air as Cloud pined them. She swore she could feel every bit of Sephiroths pain as Cloud ripped the black shards from him and it wasn't until Cloud walked a few paces away and Sephiroth's body go limp was she able to crawl out from under him.
She wrapped her arms around her wound as she knelt now on the ground next to Sepithroth. She wept as she saw what had become of the man who was protecting her and a few of her tears feel into his cheek. Through blurred eyes she looked around for Cloud but before she saw him she saw the slight glint of Second Tsurugi next to her. She reached out for it, mustering all the strength she could. Holding it up as glanced up at Cloud, no, at Jenova. With all her might she threw the blade at him, watched as it cut through the air getting to him ever so quickly. Then came that sickening sound and Tifa knew she hit target; there was a shattering and a burst of dark energy expelled out of the wound that Tifa had just created. She had hit one of the shards and it shattered and released all its dark power out of him.
Tifa smirked.
"Make that three."
Tifa still knelt next to Sephiroth as she waited her fate.
((Hope its ok???)

((The shard couldn't have been destroyed, it takes more than that to do it...plus I promised Kadaj they could steal some more shards. So I'll just say it got knocked out of Cloud and did break, if that's OK?))
(Cloud post)
Cloud continued to laugh like a maniac as he revelled in the dark power, his nemesis lying battered, bruised and half dead before him...the power finally his own, Kadaj's power was nothing now! He will defeat him, Sephiroth and anyone else who got in his way! Anyone, who got in Mothers way. The blonde was cut short of his laughter when he felt his own weapon jam into the old wound Kadaj made, and where one of the 4 shards he had managed to get in the blades way. Minimal damage was caused, nothing Cloud couldn't surivive with and heal up...but in the process he had lost a shard. But he didn't notice that, there was too much evil power already obstructing his vision and 'mental sight'. He didn't even feel like one shard became loose and left his body.
"You've got...some...NERVE!" Cloud hissed as he ripped his blade from his own torso, gasping as he felt the cold metal rub against his ribcage...which was already badly damaged from hsi past battle with kadaj. The blonde didn't care what he did next, well, this puppet of jenova didn't. The real Cloud was lost in that thick blanket of dark and evil power, if anything could get him to 'wake up' it would be one hell of an achievment. Grasping the handle of Second Tsurgi, having tossed Masamune aside, Cloud began panting as he approached Tifa with a sinister look in his eyes. He was slow and jarred in his approach, a sign that the wound was holding him back...or that the Black materia really was killing him.
"N-no one...gets in...my...way..." Cloud panted angrily as he prepaired to attack with Second Tsurugi, but in that instant, Sephiroth had recovered enough to retreive Masamune whilst nobody was looking and swing the blade at Cloud. ------- (Sephiroth post)
"I'll KILL you, foul beast!" Sephiroth roared as he swung the blade again, causing Cloud to retreat backwards and flee the scene, bviously too injured to continue fighting. Once the silver-haired creature was certain Cloud had left, he turned slowly to face the injured Tifa...the colour in his eyes was faded, and his right hand was loosly placed over his wound...blood seeping from his mouth and the injuries he gained from the conflict.
"...." He opened his mouth to speak, but instead of words comming forth from his lips, a wounded and harsh gasp flowed from him...his right hand stretching out towards Tifa as his vision began to blur, a green-glow emitted from his blood stained hand...and the same glow covered and sealed Tifa's wounds. He had Cure materia, all this time? It was one thing to use the last of his strength to cure Tifa, but why didn't he use it before during the fight? Was Cloud that brutal, or was Sephiroth really slowing down? A sly smirk appeared on the one-winged-angels lips, Masamune falling from his grasp and clanging against the floor as he took a step forward...the smirk faded into a pain-ridden scowl, as if he couldn't take it anymore...and then Sephiroth fell to his knees, before slamming face first onto the ground...unconcious once more.
((Sephy isn't dead, he's just in a critical injury state. And he did use Cure on Tifa...so if we could get someone involved in ShinRa here we could continue...otherwise, i have no ideas.))

Tifa waited, no will to fight him anymore, she just knelt there with her eyes planted on the blood stained floor. As the he came close to her, she closed her welcoming it however it never came and as she slowly raised her head, gazing at Sephiroth in almost disbelief as he tried to talk.
“Why did you help me?…”
Tifa closed her eyes as she felt the cure working through her being and surrounding her wound, closing it up enough to stop the bleeding. Why didn’t he just use it on him?….
Tifa’s eyes opened when she heard the clanging sound next to her and she had to move quickly to catch the falling Sephiroth, his head now rested on her lap.
“Why did you help me?”
With what strength she could muster from the cure running through her she preceded to lift him. Surprisingly he was light, but for some reason this worried her, does he not eat? Is this what that materia does? She held him over her shoulder and picked up his sword in her free hand. Though she staggered under the weight she knew that he needed her right now, if he was to survive she had to be strong. Making a slight detour she reached down a picked out the shard that she had cut out of Cloud.
“Well at least I know you wont die….” She half heartedly laughed. “As for you Sephiroth….”
Letting out a gasp in pain she began to walk out of the building, she walked past all the stunned guards who had witnessed the ordeal and down the floors were higher ranked officers were shouting orders to leave the two alone. When they finally reached the front doors and outside Tifa faintly smiled.
“Lets go home…”
She didn’t know why she said, nor why she said it with him in mind but she just put it down that he was the closest thing she had to Cloud right now.
((Sucky post sorry, anyways this should now be continued in 7th heaven))
