((Because Reno said it was all good to leave this post, but I hate leaving things unfinished. Also some orders in here, f.a.o. Cissnei. Hope ya don't mind 'em, or the fact that you're stuck with Yue for the job. xD Thought it'd help get Cissnei (and Yue) more involved in the plot. Feel free to yell at me if you don't like.))
Tseng might have let the matter drop if it weren’t for the reaction of the Turk sitting next to Reno. Meeting said Turk’s gaze momentarily, he considered the apologetic and slightly concerned expression on their face, before turned to regard Reno. After a moment, he gave a brief nod.
“Reno, I’ll speak to you after the meeting, in private.”
Turning back to the rest of the gathering, Tseng paused for a moment, taking another sip of his green tea before he continued. This time, when he set the teacup down, it was perfectly controlled, as though he had simply been having a pleasant conversation, not an argument with a stubborn, red-haired mule.
“Now, where was I? As I said, you should all now be aware of the events in Junon a few days ago. During those events we recovered an item from a certain Mr. Strife, who is currently resident of the medical facilities here. You will remember the first-class SOLDIER known as Sephiroth, and also Kadaj and his gang. They all have reason to be interested in the item, and so we have need to boost security in this building.” Pausing again, Tseng sat back, folding his hands neatly on his lap. “Many of you will already have received new orders. As well as adding to security here, we have need to locate both Sephiroth and Kadaj. Let it be understood that these individuals are not to be engaged unless they threaten the security of ShinRa Headquarters. Report any and all sightings or potential sightings immediately.”
Closing his eyes, Tseng lifted a hand, pressing his fingers against his temple. For a few minutes, he was silent, considering. He had put off making a decision about the White Materia until now. Sephiroth had mentioned that Zack had it. He’d also mentioned the Zack had refused to give it to him. If Sephiroth was after the White Materia…
Not to use it, but to prevent it from being used. If the White Materia was their best defence against the Black, it could not be allowed to fall into Sephiroth’s – or Kadaj’s – hands.
Gazing around at the gathered Turks, he considered who to pick for the job.
“Cissnei… and Yue… I need you to locate the former SOLDIER first-class, Zack. He must be persuaded to cooperate with us, for the good of the planet. I will forward official details to you at a later time. Now then, I believe that is everything. If nobody has any questions, this meeting is over.”
